Packaging

The Packaging industry covers 40% of all plastics use, including rigid packaging , such as PP, HDPE, PET, and flexible packaging, such as BOPP, LDPE, PA films via co-extruded technologies in stretched/oriented films, blown or cast films. Increasingly, Packaging materials must be fully recyclable in order to meet the requirements of sustainability and circular economy.  In addition, thickness drawdown, fast sealing, easy to print surface treatment and recyclability are key factors in the success of modern packaging materials.  Industrial packaging requires light stabilizer protection for several years to provide the desired durability. Some food packaging solutions require UV absorption to improve shelf life and guarantee the sensory properties of packaged foods.
