Uses: It is a kind of highly effective to resist to age. It can absorb ultraviolet in 240~340nm.It has many advantages, such as light color, nontoxic, good solubility, easy processing and so on. It protects polymers from UV radiation helping to preserve the original appearance and physical integrity. It can be widely used for PE, PVC, PP, PS, PC, organic glass, polypropylene fiber, ethylene-vinyl acetate, etc. It provides good light stability effect on dry phenol aldehyde, alkyd varnishes, polyomino esters, acrylic acids, epoxides, other air products, automobile – repairing paints, powder coatings, polyurethanes, rubble items, and so on. Its dosage is 0.1-0.5% based on polymer weight. It’s approved to be used for food package in many countries. It’s especially recommended in PE, PP, PVC, etc.
